Protecting your data is important to us. This privacy policy explains how voces.ch processes personal data when users create campaigns or participate as supporters. We align with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG) and, where applicable, GDPR.

1. What data we collect

For supporters (signees): When you sign a campaign, we collect form data you provide (typically first name, last name, email), metadata (including timestamps), and your email verification status (double opt-in).

For hosts and partners: Contact and account-access data required for account management.

2. Purpose of processing

Collected supporter email addresses are primarily used for:

• Sending transactional verification emails for signature confirmation (double opt-in).
• Providing campaign data to the campaign host so they can continue campaign work.

3. Data sharing and data pooling

voces.ch allows campaign hosts to cooperate with partner organizations ("data pooling"). If you sign through a partner form, you are informed that your data is shared with both the partner organization and the primary host. Hosts are responsible for making this transparency clear; voces.ch checks compliance on a sample basis. Data is never sold and never shared with unrelated third parties.

4. Hosting and data security

Our primary servers are located in a secure data center in Switzerland. We use modern encryption technologies to protect databases and data transfer.

5. Third-party processors

voces.ch works with third-party providers and shares personal data with them where necessary. Whenever possible, we work with providers in Switzerland.

Current providers include:

• mailgun.com: Mailgun is an email service provider used for operational emails, including user email confirmations and supporter double opt-in flows. Where possible, EU-based Mailgun infrastructure is used.

This provider list may be updated if equal or better privacy protection can be ensured. In all cases, voces.ch processes personal data only for the purposes you agreed to.

6. Access and deletion

You have the right to request access to your stored data or request deletion at any time. Please contact the host of the relevant campaign or voces.ch support.
